35 Organizations Help Build a City of Compassion

What is required for a community to fulfill its commitment to become a City of  Compassion?  It requires a combination of individuals and organizations who dedicate themselves to live by the Charter of Compassion.  As of September 1, 2013, a total of 35 Winston-Salem organizations had endorsed the Charter.  They include groups that focus on justice, education, spirituality, healthcare, emergency services, governmental, political and other areas.  Other groups are invited to join the partnership at https://compassionatews.wordpress.com/partners-of-compassionate-winston-salem/.

About compassionatews

Think of a giant umbrella. Under that umbrella are all of the programs and acts of compassion that we see – and don’t see – around us in Winston-Salem.
